Audrey Mayer

Audrey Mayer is a news reporter and weekend weather anchor for News 4 and FOX 11.

During her time in Reno, Audrey has covered several Sierra snowstorms and reported on the ground during the Beckwourth Complex, Tamarack, and Caldor fires.

Audrey joined News 4 in 2021 after two years as a reporter/anchor at KULR-8 in Billings, Montana. While in the Treasure State, Audrey reported on the COVID-19 pandemic’s impact on rural healthcare. She also traveled to Montana and Wyoming’s Native American reservations to report on indigenous tribes’ access to voting in the 2020 election and reported on several cases of missing and murdered indigenous women.

Audrey graduated from the UC Berkeley Haas School of Business where she competed on the Division I Cal Women’s Tennis team.

She's always been fascinated with weather. She loves covering all the wild weather in Western Nevada and the Sierra. She continues to study the latest weather technology to provide viewers with accurate forecasts.

A Southern California native, Audrey loves exploring the varying microclimates in Northern Nevada from the valleys to the Sierra Nevada mountains.
