Part two of Countdown to Kickoff airs Friday, Aug. 25 on My 21 TV and can be streamed online here.

The hour-long show, which will run from 5:30-6:30 p.m., breaks down the Sierra League. Here's a snapshot of what to look for in part two of our 2017 Countdown to Kickoff.

Bishop Manogue

With the hiring of head coach Ernie Howren, who took Reed to seven regional titles during his 16-year tenure, the Miners are aiming to climb the Sierra League ladder this season.

Damonte Ranch

The Mustangs head into fall on the heels of a breakthrough 2016 campaign that culminated in a North 4A championship. With the return of Notre Dame-commit Cade McNamara, a junior quarterback, and a strong receiving corps, the Mustangs are primed to make another title run.

The Tigers are looking to build off of a strong 2016 season, capturing their first playoff win since 2011.

The Grizzlies are looking to improve upon their two-win 2016 campaign. With 20-plus seniors on the roster, Galena is hoping 2017 is a breakthrough year.

After a strong start last fall, the Senators sputtered on a three-game losing streak to end the season at .500. Needless to say, Carson is champing at the bit for a bounce back season in 2017.
