Wolf Pack's Cameron Oliver named Mountain West player of the week

Nevada sophomore Cameron Oliver has been named the Mountain West men's basketball player of the week, the conference announced Monday.

Oliver last week helped Nevada move into a tie for first place in the Mountain West, posting double-doubles in the Wolf Pack's wins over Air Force and Utah State.

Oliver poured in a game-high 25 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in Nevada's 78-59 win over Air Force on Feb. 15. Three days later, the sophomore forward posted a 14-point, 10-rebound double-double in a 77-66 win over Utah State on Feb. 18.

For the week, Oliver averaged 19.5 points, 12.5 rebounds and 2.5 blocks per game.

The honor is Oliver's second career Mountain West player of the week accolade.
