Nevada WR Wyatt Demps honored

Nevada senior wide receiver Wyatt Demps will get a chance to be seen by pro scouts very soon.

Capping off the best season of his career, Nevada football graduate Wyatt Demps has been selected to the College Gridiron Showcase roster.

Demps was placed on the All-Star Offense roster, topping much of the roster. The second team All-Mountain West selection will get to show off his skills Jan. 6-10 in Addison, Texas. The CGS is a postseason showcase for NFL Draft eligible players that are selected from a panel of football experts. A series of seminars, evaluations and more will cover the five day event.

The Nevada wide receiver put up 908 yards in his final season with the Pack. He hauled in 11 touchdowns and set a new career long with an 82-yard catch at San Diego State. He averaged 75.67 yards a game and 13.55 per catch. Demps started in all 12 games for Nevada this year.

The showcase features a controlled scrimmage in front of NFL and talent scouts, giving every player their best chance to display their skills.
