Nevada men's basketball defeats Colorado State to move to 9-1 in conference
The Nevada men's basketball team defeated Colorado State on Saturday 76-67 to remain on top of the Mountain West Conference.
The first half was a struggle for the team, only shooting 32% from the field, but the team was able to stay in it due to 15-of-15 shooting from the free throw line. The free throw line was huge in the game, as Nevada shot 26-of-32 overall from the charity stripe. The Pack finished the game shooting 36% overall.
Caleb Martin led all scorers with 26 points. Lindsey Drew (16) and Kendall Stephens (15) rounded out the Pack players in double figures. Kendall Stephens scored his 1,000 career collegiate point in the win.
The Pack now move to 20-4 overall, giving Coach Musselman his third twenty win season in as many years at Nevada.
The Pack now prepare for UNLV on Wednesday at 8 PM. The game will air on CBS Sports Network.
