Nevada Hoops just outside Top 25 in latest AP Poll

Following a 6-0 start, their best in a decade, the Nevada Men's Basketball team is starting to get national recognition. The Pack received the second most votes among teams ranked outside the Top 25, essentially putting them at 27th in the nation.

If they can crack the Top 25 it will be just the 4th time in program history and the first since the 2006-7 season. That team opened the year 7-0.

The Pack will try to match that start on Wednesday night when they play host to Illinois State in the Mountain West-Missouri Valley Challenge. Tip is at 7 p.m. from Lawlor Events Center.
