Nevada defeats Utah State in quarterfinals of Mountain West Tournament

The Nevada men's basketball team defeated the Utah State Aggies 83-69 in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Tournament on Thursday in Las Vegas.

The Pack advances to the semifinal round of the Mountain West Championship and will face Fresno State, which beat Nevada in both meetings this past season.

Sophomore Cameron Oliver finished with 19 pounds and 11 rebounds for his 11th double-double of the season.

For the seventh time this season, Jordan Caroline scored 20 or more points, netting 22 against the Aggies.

Senior D.J. Fenner surpassed Luke Babbitt on the Nevada all-time scoring list. Fenner now has 1,325 points in his four years at Nevada.
