Nevada Baseball sits one win away from 2nd ever MW Title

The 2018 Nevada Baseball team will have a chance to stamp their name in program history this weekend, sitting just one win away from a Mountain West regular season championship. The Wolf Pack won their first crown with a 41 win season back in 2015. Many seniors on this year's club were freshman then, including sluggers Cole Krzmarzick and Grant Fennell. While both were part of that team, that title didn't feel like their own. But now they have a chance to do it themselves as they play host to the second place team - San Diego State - in the final series of the season.

The three game series will begin on Thursday night at 6 p.m. with staff ace and local product Mark Nowaczewski taking the hill. Friday's action will also take place at 6 p.m. with the finale, which is also Senior Day, taking place on Saturday at noon.
