Sun Valley shooting under investigation

SUN VALLEY, Nev. (MyNews4.com & KRNV) -- Lieutenants with the Washoe County Sheriff's Office tell News 4 they are investigating a shooting that happened around 8:00pm Saturday in the 5500 block of Slope Dr. in Sun Valley.

Lt. Scott Bloom said a female was transported to Renown with a gunshot wound to the head. Her condition is unknown at this time.

Bloom said there are no outstanding suspects and it is unknown if there are in fact any suspects, but he said the victim wasn't alone.

The shooting was an isolated incident.
