Police: Stolen car driven into Sparks gun store, suspects steal firearms

Sparks Police are looking for at least two young men who drove a stolen car into the Sparks Black Rifle store on Prater Way and stole several firearms on Friday, April 13.

It happened about 3:42 a.m. when officers responded to a report of a car into a building at 1450 East Prater Way.

When police arrived they found a stolen green Honda car had been intentionally driven into the building and found that several handguns and a rifle had been stolen from the business.

Police are reviewing surveillance video and are looking for at least two young men.

Sparks Black Rifle store will be closed for an undetermined amount of time. Security will be at the scene until repairs are made to the store.

No other businesses were damaged.

Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,000 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with this burglary.
