Sparks charter school gets makeover thanks to donation

A charter school in Sparks got a makeover on Wednesday thanks to a donation from Lowe's.

Twenty-three workers from Lowe's volunteered to re-carpet three classrooms and re-paint five at Alpine Academy. They also added a new sink and new lighting to the building.

Alpine Academy is a free private school that offers specialized courses with small class sizes.

School Principal Jill Ross says the remodels will be a big benefit to the students.
