RENO, Nev. — Operation Santa Claus was held at Reno-Tahoe International Airport on Saturday, December 8.
Santa along with 20 airplanes were featured at the Christmas event which benefits the Children’s Cabinet.
Pilots from throughout the region joined the aircraft parade to bring holiday joy and gifts to less fortunate families of the Children’s Cabinet.
Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived in a Nevada Air National Guard C-130 Hercules.
The parade of planes was greeted by a crowd of several hundred guests and volunteers including the families receiving gifts.
Hundreds of volunteers including Wolf Pack football players, Flips gymnasts, North Valleys H.S. JROTC, McQueen H.S. choir, Paws 4 Passengers and airline employees attended.
