Forty-five Native American veterans from the region will take part in a special Honor Flight this Veterans Day weekend.

They'll take off from Reno-Tahoe International Airport on Thursday as part of the first Native American Honor Flight.

Airport officials, Reno-Sparks Indian Colony representatives and military supporters will be on hand to celebrate the occasion with traditional song, dance and ceremony.
