Reno students hold donation drive for Eddy House
The freshman class of the Reno Huskies held a donation drive on Friday to support the Eddy House.
Several students loaded up a truck full of items to help out the youth resource center.
The Eddy House is a resource center for the homeless and at-risk kids for ages 12 to 24 in downtown Reno.
The center implements outside organizations into their program, which include job skills, group therapy and anger management.
"It's amazing to see, especially students so young, to really take this level of involvement and really do something good for this community," said Michele Gehr with the Eddy House.
