Police ID one of two armed robbery suspects in 2017 Tamarack Junction armed robbery
Reno Police have identified one of two people suspected in an armed robbery inside the Tamarack Junction Casino in south Reno on July 12, 2017.
Police say Ulises Antonio Vizcaino III and another person are wanted in the armed robbery
According to police, at approximately 2 p.m. officers responded to an armed robbery inside the Tamarack Junction Casino.
The suspect, armed with a gun, approached an employee working the sports book and took an undetermined amount of money and tried to run away.
Police say security and a patron of the casino tackled the suspect.
During the struggle police say that one shot was fired and the suspect was able to escape.
No one was injured by the bullet, but the person who helped tackle the suspect was injured, though it was not life threatening.
The suspect escaped in a waiting car driven by a second suspect. The suspect vehicle is a green Ford Explorer with tinted windows and oxidized paint on the hood.
Secret Witness is offering a reward in the amount of $1,500 for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the suspects wanted in connection with this armed robbery.
