Reno 'die-in' protests GOP health care bill, Rep. Amodei
Protesters held a "die-in" to voice their opposition to the Republican health care bill that would repeal and replace the Affordable Care Act.
Several people lied down on the ground at Pickett Park in Reno, holding mock tombstones.
Organizers said they wanted to represent the people who could lose health insurance under the American Health Care Act.
They also said they wanted to send a message to Rep. Mark Amodei, who voted in favor of the AHCA last week.
Eight politically-active groups, including Nevada Marches Forward and the Reno-Sparks NAACP, supported Monday's protest.
