PLACER COUNTY, CA (News 4 & Fox 11) — Crews responded to the report of a vehicle into the second story of a home on Robbers Ravine Road in the Cape Horn area of Placer County on Sunday.
Firefighters worked to rescue the sole occupant of the vehicle and PG&E shut off power to the area.
Fire and law enforcement stabilized the carport the vehicle was resting on and using a rope system for safety, and Technical Rescue Team (TRT) members extricated the occupant of the vehicle and transported the patient to the waiting American Medical Response (AMR) staff in the second story of the structure.
Authorities say no one was injured.
The cause of the crash is not known.
