WASHOE COUNTY, Nev. -- Fifteen men and women graduated from the Northern Nevada Law Enforcement Academy on Tuesday, December 4 at the Silver Legacy Resort Casino.
Their accomplishments were celebrated in front of family, friends, and future co-workers.
The recruits finished over 800 hours of training to earn their badges.
Of the 15 graduates, five are from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office, five from the Reno Police Department, two from the Sparks Police Department, and three from University of Nevada Police Services.
Each of them have shown what it takes to join the ranks of local law enforcement agencies by completing the northern Nevada law enforcement academy.
