Nevada Department of Wildlife to release big game draw results on May 25
It's the day sportsmen across the state of Nevada have been waiting for all year!
The Nevada Department of Wildlife will release the results of the main draw for the 2018 season on Friday, May 25.
Nevada awards big game tags through a random draw process with every application assigned a random number or a "draw number." The applications are sorted in ascending order by draw numbers and allotted by species in areas with available remaining quotas.
This year alone, NDOW says almost six million random numbers were generated and distributed across all species, hunts, and weapon classes.
NDOW launched a new website at the beginning of 2018 so those looking for tag results on Friday will have to follow some new steps.
All results will be posted on an individual's account on ndow.org/hunt/ under the "applications and points" tab on the left hand side of the page.
In addition, all hunters will receive an email with their results.
