National Democratic Training Committee heads to Reno as 2020 Campaigns heat up
RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Today, the largest organization in the country singularly focused on training Democrats on how to run for office and work on campaigns, will make its way to Reno.
The National Democratic Training Committee (NDTC), is hosting a free, day long training in partnership with the Democratic Party of Washoe County and the Rural Nevada Democratic Caucus
The event is expected to draw hundreds of people from across the state who are interested in running for office or working on a campaign.
During the training, staff from presidential campaigns in Nevada will be in attendance to speak with trainees. This will be the first time staffers from these campaigns will be at an NDTC training.
This Saturday’s training is one of at least 83 live trainings the NDTC plans to hold across all 50 states in 2019.
The event takes place on Saturday, June 29, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at Truckee Meadows Community College Dandini Campus.
