The city of Reno celebrated the opening of Miguel Ribera Skate Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday.

Councilman Oscar Delgado and other city officials gathered for the grand opening of the project, which has been a couple years in the making.

The Reno City Council approved the construction contract in July, with staff working on the design along with American Ramp Company.

The skate park is all concrete and comes with a 15-year warranty.
