SPARKS, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — The man pulled from the Truckee River in Sparks earlier this week has been identified.
The Washoe County Medical Examiner's Office said 49-year-old Loren Nichols is believed to be homeless and his cause of death is pending an autopsy and toxicology report.
Loren's body was pulled from the river near Coney Island Drive after a biker saw a body floating down the river during the afternoon hours of May 23.
The Sparks Police Department doesn't suspect foul play in his death.
