
Man shot and killed outside Atlantis Casino on Friday night in Reno
RENO, Nev. (KRNV) — A man is dead after a late night shooting in the Atlantis Casino parking lot Friday.
Police responded to the 3800 block of South Virginia Street at around 11 p.m. on June 3 on the report of shots fired. When they arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Despite live-saving efforts, the man died on scene.
Lt. Anthony Elges with the Reno Police Department said it appears the suspect(s) knew each other and the incident was isolated. Police do not believe there is a threat to the public.
The shooting remains under investigation and anyone with additional information is urged to call police or Secret Witness at 775-322-4900.
