South Lake Tahoe man accused of child sexual assault arraigned in court on Monday
The man accused of child sexual assault was arraigned on one count of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14 on Monday, June 25, according to the El Dorado County District Attorney's Office.
David Rodriguez- Flores remains in jail on $500,000 bail.
His next court date is for a bail review on Monday, July 2.
Rodriguez-Flores will then have a Pre-Preliminary Hearing in about two weeks to determine when the actual Preliminary Hearing will be set.
Four of his family members, including his daughter and wife, appeared in court on Friday, June 22, to support Rodriguez- Flores but the arraignment was moved to Monday.
He is in jail on one count of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14. He is listed as a teacher on the Pequenos Rascals Learning Center website.
