CARSON CITY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Governor Steve Sisolak has accepted the resignation of Ann Wilkinson, chair of the Public Utilities Commission of Nevada.
Wilkinson’s resignation is effective Friday, March 22nd. The governor will appoint a replacement chair in the coming weeks.
“I appreciate all that Ann has done for the Public Utilities Commission and for the State of Nevada,” Gov. Sisolak said. “I commend her for her service to the people of this state, and I wish her all the best in her future endeavors.”
“As I leave to pursue new opportunities, I leave honored to have chaired Nevada’s first all-female Public Utilities Commission,” Wilkinson said. “It has been a privilege to transition the Commission during such a dynamic time, and I am grateful to Governor Sisolak for his support during these initial months of his administration.”
Wilkinson has served as chair of the PUCN since September 2018 and is departing the PUCN to pursue new opportunities.
