RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — A garage fire has led to the closure of Kearney Street in the Panther Valley neighborhood of Reno Thursday night.
The fire was put out, according to firefighters on scene.
A battalion chief later said the car's engine compartment had caught on fire, causing smoke to the fill the house. The fire only damaged the car and the house's water heater and furnace, however.
No injuries were reported, though Kearney was briefly closed for the response.
