RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) — Eldorado Resorts, the company that owns three of downtown Reno's casino resorts, is opening an on-site medical clinic for its insured employees.
Nearly 2,500 of the 4,000 employees of Circus Circus Reno, Silver Legacy and the Eldorado have insurance through the company and will now have access to the free service.
Insured workers can receive free doctor visits, physicals, lab work, annual wellness checks, flu shots and access to over 50 high-quality generic drugs, though the pharmacy will not carry opioids.
Patients can schedule an appointment within 24 hours while accommodating their work schedule.
The 4,450 square-foot clinic is a partnership with Activate Healthcare and is attached to Circus Circus Reno. It includes three exam rooms, a pharmacy and patient resource center.
“The success of our family-founded company is largely attributed to the integrity and health of our team,” Gary Carano, CEO of Eldorado Resorts, said in a statement. “With Reno’s emerging population growth and the challenge in securing timely medical treatment, we identified a solution for our Team Members and knew we had to adapt. We hope the clinic provides ease and efficiency for our ever-expanding staff.”
The center is a comprehensive clinic that can serve as a primary care provider. It will start operating May 30.
