RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) - A small brush fire broke out in Washoe Valley Sunday night.

Around 11:00 p.m. Truckee Meadows Fire crews responded to the scene of a reported 3 to 5 acres brush fire in the hills of Eastlake Blvd.

Fire crews from the City of Reno, City of Sparks, Carson City, and N.D.F. are also on the scene.

According to Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District Battalion Chief Chris Ketring, a hose line is around the entire fire and, therefore, is being called confined.

2 hand crews have been ordered to the scene in order to help completely extinguish the fire.

The Park Ranger gave people camping at Washoe Lake Park voluntary evacuation notifications that have since been lifted.

No private structures have been threatened and no injuries have been reported at this time.
