A 6th grade student at Grace Warner Elementary School is setting the bar high when it comes to being a great role model and this month she is News Four's Class Act Award Winner!

Evening anchor Shelby Sheehan surprised Scarlett Metcalfe-McCain during class with the award.

The list is long when her teachers and principal describe her. She's kind, hardworking, insightful, accepting and self motivated.

Scarlett excels academically and is an active member of the leadership team, always willing to help and bring ideas to make her school a better place.

She does the food pantry weekly, runs the morning announcements and never misses a leadership meeting.

A busy girl who always has a smile on her face.

Congratulations to Scarlett Metcalfe-McCain, News Four's Class Act Award Winner for the month of March!
