Brenna Greene joined the News 4 sports team as a Sports Anchor/Reporter in August 2016.
She comes to the Biggest Little City after spending the last two years as a Sports Anchor/Reporter for KRTV in Great Falls, MT. While in Montana, Brenna covered everything from a Great Falls local getting drafted in the NBA to many small town high schools.
Ever since she was a child -- in Portland, OR -- Brenna has been infatuated with teams, players, and their stories. If she wasn't watching sports, she had her face buried in her local paper's sports section trying to memorize every fact she could possibly get her hands on. As she became older, she realized that her future job should involve telling others' stories through sports.
Upon high school graduation, Brenna attended Gonzaga University. During her time at Gonzaga, Brenna served as lead anchor and executive producer of the broadcasting program's sports show (The Doghouse), the host for the Gonzaga women's basketball Head Coach's show (The Kelly Graves Show), and a videographer and writer for Gonzaga's News Service.
Greene was also given opportunities outside of Gonzaga. She was hired by Eastern Washington University to color commentate and sideline report for the University's volleyball and women's basketball programs, as well as do live hits during football games.
Upon graduation, Brenna received the honor of Magna Cum Laude and was ranked the #9 collegiate sportscaster in the country by the Sportscasters Talent Agency of America.
Naturally, Brenna is a huge Gonzaga fan. Her journey to becoming a Sports Anchor/Reporter began in the confines of Autzen Stadium and the Rose Garden (now known as the Moda Center), so she remains a huge Oregon sports fan as well.
She could not be more thrilled join a community that shares her passion for sports, and she can’t wait to start telling the communities’ stories through the lens of athletics.
When she’s not working, she’s probably still watching sports!
