Local 1868 star Kevin Partida signs MLS deal with San Jose Earthquakes

Kevin Partida's rookie season just keeps getting better. After being drafted in the 3rd Round by the San Jose Earthquakes in the 2018 MLS SuperDraft, Partida went unsigned and instead landed back in his hometown where he would suit up for Reno 1868 FC. The Sparks and UNLV alum shined on the pitch during the first half of the USL slate, and after a chance to start for San Jose in their U.S. Open Cup match last week, the club has decided to offer him an MLS contract.
