Undefeated Nevada men's basketball cracks AP Top 25 for first time since 2006-07 season
The Nevada men's basketball team is officially ranked 22nd in the nation among Division I men's basketball teams, according to the newly released Associated Press Top 25.
The Pack is off to a perfect start on the season with an 8-0 record including four road wins over Santa Clara, Pacific, Hawaii, and UC Irvine.
The #22 ranking announced Monday, December 4 marks the first time the Pack was ranked nationally since finishing the 2006-07 season where they finished #21.
The start of the 2017-18 season is the program's best start since 1970.
Nevada will travel to Lubbock, Texas for a 5 p.m. tip-off against #26 Texas Tech on Tuesday, December 5. They will then take on #20 Texas Christian University at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Classic at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on December 8.
