Steph Curry returns to play in American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament

A spokesperson with the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament says that Klay Thompson has decided to withdraw from the competition due to a scheduling conflict.

Golden State Warriors guards Steph Curry and Klay Thompson are taking their talents from the basketball court to the golf course.

According to a spokesperson with the American Century Celebrity Golf Tournament Championship, Curry has committed to returning to Edgewood Golf Course on the beautiful shores of Lake Tahoe.

This will be Thompson's first time participating in the event.

Curry is bringing a familiar face along with him for some friendly competition, his dad, former NBA star Dell Curry.

Steph is listed at 20-1 by the Harrah’s and Harveys Race & Sports Book. Klay Thompson’s odds to win are 40 to 1, and Dell at 30 to 1.

The 28th annual tournament has raised more than $4 million for multiple national and area charities and offers free admission to military personnel and guests.

The golf tournament is scheduled for July 14-16 in Stateline.
