Nevada softball season ends with 3-0 loss

The Wolf Pack finishes the season with a record of 30-25.

The University of Nevada softball team ran into one of the top pitching duos on the west coast today in the Regional Final Bracket of the National Invitational Softball Championship.

The Wolf Pack (30-25) was held to just one hit as they fell to Cal Poly 3-0 in Stockton.

The Mustangs win the NISC Region 1 title with the victory and improve to 37-19 on the season.

Nevada will lose five seniors off of this year's team.

This was the first time that Nevada has reached the postseason since 2009.
