High School Football kicks off across Northern Nevada

Reed dominates Clayton Valley 38-22 in their season opener

Football is finally back. The High School season got underway tonight with Northern Nevada impressing against out of town foes. Reed dominated Clayton Valley (Concord, CA) 38 to 22 in Tony Amantia's debut at the helm of the Raiders, while Cade McNamara and the reigning North Champion Damonte Ranch Mustangs topped Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA) 46 to 16.

Led by former Reed head man Ernie Howren, the Bishop Manogue Miners put a lashing on North Valleys 60 to 13.
