Nevada Golf's Grant Booth granted exemption to play in the Barracuda Championship
Reno, Nev. —
A dream came true at Montreux Golf and Country Club as Barracuda Championship tournament director Chris Hoff offered Nevada Golf's Grant Booth an exemption spot in the PGA tournament event. Booth is coming off a career at Nevada where he shot the lowest stroke average in school history his junior and senior season.
The recent graduate also played an integral part in Nevada golf snapping a decade long NCAA tournament drought. Booth's resume doesn't stop there being named all Mountain West selection his senior season and being ranked as high as 20th in the country in the Arnold Palmer Cup ranking as an international player.
During his junior season, Booth was the first Pack golfer since 2012 to reach an NCAA Regional solo.
The 2018 Barracuda Championship will run July 30th through August 5th out at Montreux Golf and Country Club. For ticket information you can log on to Barracudachampionship.com
