Purdue transfer Kendall Stephens impresses in Pack exhibition
Reno, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
Wolf Pack fans got their first glimpse of the Nevada Basketball team on Sunday when they held an exhibition against Grand Canyon at Lawlor Events Center.
In the game, many players suited up for the Silver & Blue for the first time. Included in that group is Purdue transfer Kendall Stephens, who was lights-out from beyond-the-arc.
Stephens would hit his first five three point shots to start the night, finishing with 19 points. Afterwards, the team said this was no fluke and that Stephens figures to be one of the best three-point shooters in the conference this season.
