Pack football makes several offers over holiday weekend
Reno, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
It may be a recruiting dead period for college football, but that hasn't slowed new Wolf Pack Head Coach Jay Norvell and the rest of his staff. Over the past few days there have been several players Tweeting about receiving an offer from Nevada.
On January 13th coaches are allowed to visit prospective student-athletes, and they can also visit campuses. Electronic communication is still allowed during the dead period.
Vosean Crumbie, a Tallahassee, Florida native and current Ventura College defensive back tweeted that he received an offer. Crumbie is currently verbally committed to Fresno State. Nevada QB Ty Gangi is also an alum of Ventura.
Midland, Texas defensive back McLane Mannix also tweeted his offer from the Wolf Pack. Mannix verbally committed to Vanderbilt in June.
Derrick Vickers, a wide receiver from Bakersfield College said the offer from Nevada was his third (Colorado State, Utah State). He is a product of Bakersfield High School where Asauni Rufus is an alum.
Tanis Joseph is one of two offensive lineman offered by the Pack. Joseph hails from Ellsworth Community College in Iowa. He has offers from Toledo, Southern Miss, UMass, Arkansas State, Hawaii, ECU, Marshall, and more.
Keli'i Montibon is a 6'4 offensive lineman from Riverside City College in California. Montibon hails from Honolulu's Kamehameha High School.
