One of the best qualities of Nevada Head Coach Eric Musselman since taking over the program a few years ago has been his ability to make an impact on the transfer market. Cam Oliver came to Nevada via Oregon State, Jordan Caroline and Marcus Marshall from the Missouri Valley Conference, and more in the wings next season including the Martin twins from N.C. State.

Coach Muss continued to stockpile for the future by adding Marquez Thatcher-Ellis, a transfer from Rice.

Letcher-Ellis took to his Twitter page this morning to announce that he will be coming to play for the Silver and Blue.

He will of course have to sit out next season but will be ready to suit up in 2019.

Letcher-Ellis averaged almost nine points and five rebounds a game last season for the Owls.

He has some interesting connections to the Pack, he played at the same high school as Jordan Caroline (Montverde) and is good friends with fellow Houston native Josh Hall.

He was a three-star recruit out of high school with offers from Oklahoma, Geogia and VCU among others.
