RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
Nevada Assemblywoman Amber Joiner says she will not seek re-election when her current term comes to an end.
Joiner currently represents District 24, which includes downtown and midtown Reno.
Joiner said on Twitter that she plans to finish her current term and that she has "no plans to run for anything else right now."
The Democratic lawmaker was first appointed to the Assembly in Dec. 2014. She won her election last November with more than 70 percent of the vote.
