At least 3 injured, suspect dead in shooting at Las Vegas medical facility
LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — Officers are investigating a deadly shooting at a medical facility in Las Vegas, where police say at least three were shot before the gunman turned the weapon on himself.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the shooting was reported on Thursday at a medical facility in the 300 block of North Buffalo Drive near Summerlin Parkway.
Police say the shooter showed up for an unscheduled medical appointment. He opened fire when he could not be accommodated.
Two employees were shot and are expected to be ok. A third person was injured due to a fall.
The gunman then turned the gun on himself.
According to LVMPD, the suspect is dead at the scene.
Officers are clearing the business and attempting to locate any additional victims.
According to Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, four total victims were taken to UMC Trauma and crews are in the process of clearing the scene.
Las Vegas Fire and Rescue originally tweeted that several units were set up for emergency medical services for gunshot victims.
