Washoe school trustees move forward with Wildcreek High School project
RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
Washoe County School District trustees voted unanimously Tuesday to accept a "due diligence" report that paves the way for a controversial school project to move forward.
The report from an outside engineering firm found that the Wildcreek High School project, which would be built on a portion of the Wildcreek Golf Course, is feasible.
Trustees at Tuesday's meeting accepted the findings of the report, which would move the project forward.
People packed the meeting to voice their disapproval of the project, arguing the project could lead to traffic nightmares and take away a golfing option from the Truckee Meadows.
