Washoe County sheriff, deputies take plunge at Peppermill pool to benefit Special Olympics
RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
Some Washoe County Sheriff's deputies got a little lucky on Wednesday with the warmer weather.
Sheriff Chuck Allen, deputies and some Peppermill executives took part in a plunge at the Peppermill pool to benefit the Special Olympics of Nevada.
The event is a precursor to the South Lake Tahoe Polar Plunge on March 18 at Zypher Cove on Lake Tahoe.
