Victim suffers life-threatening injuries in northeast Reno shooting
RENO, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
A victim has been taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting reported Friday night in northeast Reno, according to police.
Lt. Scott Shaw confirmed officers responded to the 1500 block of Oliver Street, near Sutro Street and Oddie Boulevard, on a report of a shooting.
When they arrived, officers found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the chest, Shaw said.
The victim was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. No information on a suspect or suspects was immediately available.
Oliver Street is closed for the investigation, according to Shaw.
