Univ. of Nevada demonstrates drones for search-&-rescue cases

The University of Nevada, Reno is showing the uses of drones in search-and-rescue cases.

The school's Advanced Autonomous Systems Innovation Center held a presentation Tuesday in Douglas County, where unmanned aerial systems would be used if the program is accepted.

Douglas County Search and Rescue evaluated the different equipment available and looked at the impacts on surrounding areas.
