Officers found a dead man on the dirt shoulder of the southbound lanes of Sparks Boulevard, just south of the Express Street.
Police say it appears the man was walking north on Sparks Boulevard, close to the fog line when he was struck.
The body color of the vehicle that hit the man is pearl white and there should be damage to the right front and front center of the vehicle. It had a charcoal colored bug guard that is mostly or all gone now, and the windshield is probably cracked or shattered. Police believe the vehicle was either a car or SUV, and not a larger or tall vehicle.
Sparks Police believe the vehicle pulled into Sparky's parking lot after the crash.
Sparks Police ask if anyone saw something resembling this, or recognizes a vehicle matching the color and damage to call please Sparks Detectives at 353-2225 or Secret Witness.
