South Lake Tahoe City Manager Nancy Kerry resigned on March 6, 2018.

Kerry served as city manager for five and a half years and has been employed by the City of South Lake Tahoe for nearly 10 years.

The city's executive team and Kerry were credited for developing an effective strategic business plan, guided economic development efforts, eliminated more than$60 million in debts and unfunded liabilities and strengthened the city's financial status and community partnership.

“The Council and I appreciate Ms. Kerry’s service to the City. She has been able to move the City forward in significant ways,” said Mayor Wendy David. “We wish her all the best in her next chapter.”

“The past 10 years has been extremely gratifying,” Ms. Kerry noted. “I love this community, and I will always be very proud of what we’ve achieved together, addressing difficult community concerns, implementing effective solutions and developing some life-long friendships in the process. The City is in very capable hands with a City Council dedicated to doing what is best for the community and the outstanding department directors who I’ve been privileged to serve alongside all these years.”
