Driver transported to Reno hospital via CareFlight after serious rollover crash on US 50A
FERNLEY, Nev. (News 4 & Fox 11) —
A serious injury crash on U.S. 50 alternate has left several people injured, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The single-vehicle rollover happened in the northbound travel lanes of U.S. 50A near Damon's Curve, north of Silver Springs on Sunday morning just before 9:30 a.m.
Trooper Gordon tells News 4/Fox 11 that the driver of the vehicle was ejected from the car and was transported to a Reno hospital via CareFlight.
The other two occupants in the car were children and the extent of their injuries are unknown.
The road was shut down for over an hour, but all travel lanes have since reopened.
