Authorities say search efforts are still ongoing to find two men reported missing and whose belongings were found at Pyramid Lake.

Sparks Police Lt. Michael Keating said they believe Ron Haigman and Quentin Johnson knew each other from their work as contractors at the Tesla Gigafactory.

The Washoe County RAVEN helicopter is surveying the area, and officials are working on sending a search plane.

All vehicles belonging to the two men have been accounted for, Keating said.

Family members didn't report them missing until May 8 after not hearing from them for two weeks, he said. They didn't know the two were at Pyramid Lake until a truck and trailer were found on May 12.

A search of cell phone activity found the last ping before they arrived at Pyramid Lake, which Keating said was normal due to cell tower availability near the lake.
