Officers received a report at about 9:50 p.m. Friday, Feb. 9, of a victim of a shooting at the 7-Eleven on Grove, police said. They also received reports of shots heard in the area around the same time.

Responding officers arrived to find the victim with gunshot wounds to the arm and lower back. That person was taken to a hospital and is expected to survive, according to police.

Police said the victim and suspect in that case were involved a prospective deal over weapons and ammunition stolen from a California law enforcement agency.
